Frequently asked questions
Can I restore a removed page?
Yes. A removed page remains available in the organizer until the output PDF is created, so use the restore control if it was removed by mistake. Review every thumbnail and the final visible page count before saving. At least one page must remain. Once the new PDF has been downloaded, restoring a page requires returning to the source document or organizing again, so keep the original file and do not treat the edited result as the only copy until it has been checked.
Will page quality change?
Normal page content is copied rather than intentionally rendered into images, so reordering, rotating, or removing pages does not deliberately reduce raster or vector quality. The operation still saves a new PDF structure. Forms, outlines, internal links, annotations, attachments, and other interactive features may not remain fully connected after pages move or disappear. Test searchable text, links, form fields, page references, and print output when those features are important to the document's use.
What should I review after organizing PDF pages?
Open the result and inspect the complete page sequence, not only the thumbnails used during editing. Confirm the first and last page, section boundaries, rotations, pages intended for removal, and the final page count. Look for blank pages, upside-down scans, duplicated content, or references that now point to the wrong page number. If the PDF contains a table of contents, bookmarks, forms, or internal links, test them separately because page-level edits can leave those interactive structures outdated.
What limitations should I know before editing a PDF?
Pages are copied into a new PDF after the selected order, rotations, and removals are applied. Password-protected files are not supported. Forms, outlines, internal links, page references, attachments, scripts, and annotations can become incomplete when pages move or disappear. At least one page must remain. Review the full sequence, page count, section boundaries, rotations, table of contents, bookmarks, links, fields, and print output before treating the organized file as final.
Are the PDF tools free to use?
Yes. Every PDF action listed in this section is free to use, requires no signup, and does not add a PetexSpace watermark. The tools have different input requirements and limitations, so open the exact action and review its page selection, supported image type, output behavior, and document warning before starting. Keep the original PDF until the result has been opened, checked page by page, and tested in the reader or workflow that will receive it.
